In 1912, Bishop Ortynsky established “The Providence Association” because he wished to give Ukrainian immigrants a chance to reach financial security and stability.

Our organization has three main goals:

  • Moral – preach the faith
  • Material – prepare and offer our members ways to find financial security
  • National – aid in development of national identity for Ukrainians who immigrate into our community
